Soil health monitoring for more sustainable products
A strategic collaboration designed to enable McCain Foods to enhance soil health and sustainability on its potato farms by leveraging data-backed insights. The Soil Benchmarking Solution, developed by Abaco Group UK in partnership with the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB), allows McCain Foods to track soil quality over time in order to assess the impact of regenerative practices on soil health, ultimately refining agronomic decision-making to optimize nutrient use, increase biodiversity, and improve resilience.
